My holidays recount

Inflatable World

During the school holidays on Saturday the 12th it was my friends 10th birthday and she invited me to go to Inflatable world . Her name was Shannon and she also invited  Malena and Janine.  When I reached inflatable world at Napier at Thames st I was the first person so we got to play with each other.   What were Shannon’s birthday presents?  

At Shannon’s party her brother Aiden and Marshall were there and her mum and her little sister were there too. At Inflatable world there was a wrestling area, a large slide to climb up then slide down with a dark area to wait in, there is also a slide with a climbing wall and a fun obstacle course and lots more awesome things.  Since I was the first person who came, me and Shannon tried playing with everything and she told about the whole place since it was my first time.

For lunch we had pizza from pizza hut , the pizza toppings were pepperoni, Hawaiian, a jelly meat one (i didn't eat that one) and the last one I can’t remember. For  Shannon’s cake they got a really nice banana cake with a yummy pink icing and tiny M&M’s all over the  pink icing.  For snacks we got Mentos,chips,chocolate,juice and nuts. They were all set up really nicely at the table.

After lunch we all went into the under 5 year old area because of Shannon’s little sister.  When we went in we had to go into the jungle

area and in it was some long trees, long pathway, a big bridge,a little hut and some fake mushrooms. When we went in Shannon’s little sister and all of us played hide and seek.

   For Shannon's birthday presents she got a really cool pink butterfly diary from me with a notebook two rubbers and a pencil plus a pencil pouch and a card.  From Malena she got a dice game with posters and a card. Shannon loved her presents and she said her favorite was the diary.

All About Kiwis

Kiwis

Kiwis are flightless birds and are only found in New Zealand. One specific place you can see the kiwi which allows public could be the Napier Aquarium. One really cool fact about the kiwi is that amazingly kiwis have whiskers like a cat. (This Fact about  kiwis having  whiskers was found on the site rainbow  springs kiwi facts)

There are 5 recognized species of the kiwi which are the great spotted kiwi,little spotted kiwi,North island brown kiwi,Southern brown kiwi and last but not least the Okarito brown kiwi.  A kiwis egg is in size very big and to lay eggs kiwis start go go around looking for other kiwis when they finally find a kiwi they start mating so later on the girl kiwi lay eggs and wait while that's happening the kiwis keep the eggs warm until the magic happens the eggs hatch and new lives are born.

The kiwi is nocturnal, it is quite a curious bird and they  are flightless have no tail loose hair like feathers and brilliant tough strong legs and have big long beak.Kiwis eat small invertebrates ,insects,seeds,fruits,eels,grubs,amphibians and worms.Most kiwis love living in the forest and trees to make nests and burrows.

Kiwis have gone looking for  other kiwis so when they find the perfect one they know that they will have each other for a long time. Kiwis have been known to be in a relationship for more than 20 years so they would definitely know each other quite well.

Kiwis are nocturnal and are very shy the have a very long beak and eat lots of small invertebrates.

Area and Perimeter

This is are maths which is a Area and Perimeter poster.  I  did it with Nikitah and me (Nikita.)  We used sticky notes and made our own  shape,with also using vivid. We also used squared for area and  we added up all the distances for the perimeter and did times tables. 

Camp Roil

Camp Roil Moments

This is moments of me cooking my dinner, dessert  and breakfast.

Last Thursday on the  second of April we went to Camp Roil.  The camp was only  one night but it was full of fun.   We made our own bivouac and made our own food. This was our fun survivor camp.   My favorite part was cooking the food.  My Group was Naz, Luke,Nikitah,Curtis and me.  Our parents name was Lychell.          

I ran over to my station where my group was, and we were all looking at the recipe.  First we checked our box to see what we had.  We started cutting our oranges in half and cut the flesh out and ate it, yum! It was delicious!  Next we all started to put the ingredients in a bowl  and we all started to mix.  Once that was done we put the mixture into the orange peel, wrapped it in tinfoil  and put them in a line next to the campfire. The dessert I was making, was a muffin inside an orange.

We went back to our station, we got out our potatoes and washed, cut and wrapped them with tinfoil.  Once we finished doing that we started on making our burgers. I first went to the table to get meat patties and put it on the hot plate to cook.While that was happening I cut my bread in half and put in it tomatoes, lettuce,meat patties, egg and cheese.Yum it looked Delicious!   

I went to the table with Nikitah and started eating, it tasted mouthwatering!   Later on I had got my potato which was so nice and my dessert was so delicious especially with the ice cream.

Camp Roil was the best I would love to go back and do it all over again.
